As the title suggest this post is about F.R.I.E.N.D.S the famous TV show. I always wanted to share my views about it. Finally i got a platform to share them.
Friends is just not a TV show for me. It is more than that. Friends is legendary. Their is no show that might replace it in my thoughts. When ever i need a good laugh or a cry or just need a time pass, it has always been there and never disappointed me :).
What is their in Friends which makes it so special? What i think is the fact that you can relate yourself to one of the characters or relate someone else you know to a character of Friends. The cast of the show didn't changed over the 10 years it ran. Even the supporting cast remained the same.
My favorite character in Friends is chandler, the sarcasm god! I wish i could be him. How much fun he can create out of no where. The duo of chandler and joey is one of the best part of the show. How they behave and crack jokes, it amazing.
Friends taught me what is the importance of friends in life, how they eventually become your family. What relationships are and how complicated and messy they can be and at the same time how fun are they. Roommates, and their importance in life.
The music of Friends, "I'll be there for you!". it is the best fit title track for the show. it doesn't go to just the friends show but friends in life. :)
Some episodes are really amazing. The pilot , the one where monica gets a roommate, sets the right tune for the show. the whole first season is just about how confused all of them are in their 20's where they have to take control of their lives.
The second and third seasons also the same type but with more relationships and more jokes, The episode where joey and chandler spends the whole episode on their leather chairs was so much fun.
Season 4 and 5, i would say the best seasons of friends. You can't have more of them. The best episode of Friends , "The one with the embryos", where they bet the apartment is so good that it can not be compared to anything else. Season 5th episode 'the one where every one finds out'. might be called the second best episode.
Season 6 episode , the one that could have been was a very good try and a unique type of attempt.
Season 7,8,9 and 10 have been on more emotional side. but jokes never stopped. When friends ended, 'the last one', many of us shed atleast a single tear in its memory.
In all Friends was the best thing that ever happened to the world of TV, it might not be the highest ranked or rated show but it rules hearts of million!
